We welcome well-behaved pets and their families in a selection of our luxury 3 & 5 bedroom vacation homes in Kissimmee, FL. Located just 5 miles from Disney and very close to other area attractions.

The perfect setting for you and your pet to have the vacation of a lifetime. Pets are welcomed by special arrangement. There is a $30 charge per pet per week, or part of a week. Also a $300 security deposit is required, refundable assuming there is no damage to the house during your stay.

Kissimmee accommodations are in close proximity for lakeside walks with your pet
Sadie and Mimi. Sounds like a Disney cartoon, but Mickey and Minnie they're not! Characters of the canine variety, my "kids" have just discovered Kissimmee, a pet-friendly paradise offering plenty of hot dog (and cool cat) digs: at least two dozen hotels, motels, resorts, and vacation homes welcoming the entire family. Lakeside walks, games of ball in the park, city strolls, and outdoor cafés that catered to our privileged pups sent them into a tail-wagging frenzy.

Comforts of Home
We booked a vacation home with Sun 'N' Fun Vacation Homes, dog lovers who recognized the need to accommodate vacationing pets as well as their people. Pets are welcome at 15 of the 19 properties, which range from two - five bedroom homes, all with screened-in pools. There is no limit to the size or number of pets you can check in, an important distinction for us. Mimi, our feisty, five-pound Chihuahua did not pose a problem, but Sadie, our 48-pound English Springer Spaniel, doesn't always make the cut with size-conscious pet policies. Sun 'N' Fun presented the added bonus of large, fenced-in yards where the dogs could safely romp.

Our vacation home sat on a tranquil lake. Mornings and afternoons, curious families of ducks waddled up from the water to our chain link fence, practically nose to nose with our girls. Late evenings we lounged on the lanai, eating Häagen-Dazs ice cream and gazing at the lake. Sadie and Mimi enjoyed the vista while indulging in Frosty Paws, a special ice cream made for dogs that we picked up at a nearby supermarket.
